Position Summary: Multipurpose position, to serve the needs of TexomaCare. Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Interviews patients, measures vital signs, draws/collects blood samples, records information on patients' charts, and prepares treatment rooms for examination.Performs registration functions on all patients, performs insurance verification, collects co-payments, deductible amounts and outstanding account balances and processes referral/routing orders. Enters patient changes, processes CPT and ICD-9 codes, performs end-of-day balancing.

Job Requirements

High school or equivalent. MA II - One year of clinical experience (hospital or physician office) with the ability to draw blood or six months exper
