Sodexo is seeking a Patient Experience Manager at St. Peter's Hospital, located in Albany, NY.  St. Peter's is part of St. Peter’s Health Partners, the region's largest and most comprehensive not-for-profit network of advanced medical care, primary care, rehabilitation and senior services http://www.sphp.com. St. Peter's is the flagship location, with 452 beds and close to 1 million cleanable square feet. 

 

Sodexo is committed to employee engagement, increased collaboration with patient care units, and utilization of LEAN principles.  This Patient Experience Manager will lead all efforts to improve the patient experience. The selected candidate will provide behavioral training and skills development to the Environmental Services/Housekeeping department at St. Peter's Hospital with the potential to travel to additional hospitals within the healthcare system. This is a day shift opportunity, but may require additional shifts as needed. 

 

This Patient Experience Manager will be responsible for strategic analysis of trends and metrics involved in patient feedback to create action and communication surrounding solutions.  Responsibilities will also include:

  • Rounding with existing patients, families, and Nursing personnel
  • Collaboration with hospital clinical and administrative leadership
  • Collecting, organizing, and trending data
  • Communicating findings and best practices with the team

Our ideal candidate will have prior Management experience in the hospital, healthcare OR hospitality industry with a track record of improving the patient/customer/guest experience and satisfaction scores. Interfaces with other healthcare professionals to improve the patient experience. Provides behavioral training and skills development to department and hospital teams. Strategic analysis of trends and metrics involved in patient feedback to create action and communication surrounding solutions.

  • Rounding with existing patients, families, and Nursing personnel in facility
  • Collaboration with hospital clinical and administrative leadership
  • Collecting, organizing, and trending data
  • Communicating findings with both Nutrition Services and interdisciplinary teams
  • Networking with other hospitals to identify best practices

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year experience in Service Recovery role at large hospitality or hospital environment
