Unit Description

Sodexo at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital is currently seeking a high performing Patient Services Manager 1 to oversee the operation for the fifth largest hospital within the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Houston, Texas. Southeast has 300 licensed beds and an average daily census of 230.  Our campus has one of the busiest emergency rooms in the system, an outpatient tower, two professional buildings, and a brand new cardiovascular service line.  Southeast has been recognized for press ganey results in the system for many years. 

 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

 

  • Strong presence in the Southeast campus community
  • Comfortable with patients and family members
  • Strong focus on customer service excellence
  • Collaborative approach with hospital constituents
  • Registered dietitian preferred but not required
  • Able to articulate strategic leadership skills to drive and motivate patient satisfaction as well as enhance dining experience
  • Exceed the expectations of food safety and sanitation standards for regulatory compliance
  • Must be organized, hands on, with a high emphasis of providing strong leadership, direction, and training to a diverse team
  • Develop and motivate team to meet and exceed program compliance and targets
  • Professional and good communication skills
  • High level of computer literacy

Position Summary

Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Key Duties
- Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.

- Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.

- Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.

- Performs audits and prepares reports

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
