    Sodexo is seeking an experienced Patient Services Manager for Boston Children’s Hospital, ranked as the #1 Children's Hospital in the nation! This is a high profile, Sodexo Prestige account and a 400 bed teaching facility located in Boston, MA. This pediatric hospital has 400 beds and high volume food court. 

     

    As patient services manager, you will be tasked with leading, developing, and growth of our program and team.  Responsibilities include on-going training, quality inspections, compliance, safety, patient rounding, test trays, trayline supervision and the implementation of Sodexo policies and procedures.  #LI

     

    The ideal candidate will have prior management experience in a food services department with direct reports of front-line staff from a healthcare environment. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, technical and Leadership skills are necessary to be successful in this job. JCAHO experience is preferred. Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Seeking individuals that want to make a difference in food quality, satisfaction, sanitation, employee engagement and training.  Six sigma experience a plus, tremendous opportunity in a highly visible account.

    Position Summary

    Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
    Key Duties
    - Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.

    - Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.

    - Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.

    - Performs audits and prepares reports.
     


     

     

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
