Sodexo has an outstanding and immediate opportunity for a Registered Dietitian (with at least 2 years lead or management experience) as the Patient Services Manager to manage the Room Service Program and support the Clinical Team at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colorado.


Sky Ridge Medical Center is a 286-bed, acute care hospital and medical campus that features beautifully appointed private patient rooms, patient and family friendly amenities and a reputation for outstanding clinical care and world-class service. Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate will:

    • Be a Registered Dietitian with at least 2 years of lead and/or management experience in a healthcare setting and manage the Room Service and support the Clinical Nutrition programs
  • Have the ability to manage labor effectively on a daily basis, 25 Room Service employees.
  • Be self-motivated and possess skills to improve and sustain both Patient and Employee Satisfaction
  • Have prior experience with management of a large Room Service team in a hospital setting
  • Serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team along with other manager’s reporting directly to the General Manager
  • Be able to effectively round with employees and key nursing leaders on a regular basis to ensure needs are being met
  • Have a highly visible role with client interaction and represent the department on hospital-wide committees
  • Be able to establish and manage quality/performance initiatives for the department and communicate results to the internal team and client
  • Have a strong understanding of regulatory readiness and nutrition standards of care
  • Serve as an outstanding team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Be ServSafe certified

Position Summary

Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Key Duties
- Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.

- Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.

- Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.

- Performs audits and prepares reports.




Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
