Sodexo is currently seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 for University of Louisville Hospital.  This is a 300 bed acute care facility.  At Sodexo we believe that Quality of Daily Life contributes to the progress of individuals and the performance of organizations. We have an exceptional career opportunity for a Patient Service Manager 2 in Louisville, KY.

The ideal candidate has recent experience managing a food service program, understands the importance of patient satisfaction, is able to evaluate and recommend improvements and quality assurance programs targeted to help improve customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include: participation in and directing the patient meal operation; daily meal rounding and interaction with the patients, their families and the nursing staff; ensuring proper meal assembly procedures & staff training and provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients. Sodexo is running At Your Request room service patient meal delivery (AYR).  Will manage 10-30 employees.
 

As our Patient Service Manager 2, you will manage a best in class dining experience for the patients at this hospital. Your success will be measured by your ability to:

  • Work with food production and other managers to oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth flow of food services to patients
  • Effectively manage a high volume patient tray line operation
  • Exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Check audits
  • Evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services program

Position Summary

Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Key Duties
- Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.

- Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.

- Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.

- Performs audits and prepares reports.
 


 

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
