Position Summary:

Position Summary:

The Sitter is responsible for sitting at the bedside to assure the safety of the patient who is disoriented, confused and or is a Baker Act. In addition, the sitter is responsible for alerting the Nursing Staff to any patient care needs. Sitters will not be asked to perform any patient care tasks, unless it is within his job description.  Openings for 11 pm - 7 am are open as well.  Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Prior Direct Patient Care / Prior healthcare experience REQUIRED-minimum 6 months with a proven track record

Certified Nursing Assistant Certification preferred/ Must complete CPI training within 90 days of employment
Communication and interpersonal skills, customer service skills required
