If you are located in the Central or Eastern time zone, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and document project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to established quality standards
  • critical thinking and research skills to analyze and interpret data
  • Facilitate meetings and provide presentations to customers and business partners
  • Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to define, align, and deliver payment integrity initiatives in support of assigned clients
  • Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, approaches, and / or products
  • Recommend changes to current product development procedures based on market research and new trends
  • Identify savings initiatives that drive specific and measurable results, providing timely and meaningful client updates


Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ of experience in healthcare data analytics, payment integrity, or with billing, coding and auditing of claims
  • Intermediate proficiency working with SAS and / or SQL
  • 2+ years of project management experience including  critical thinking approach and problem solving skills
  • Inquisitive mind and the ability to questions experts and provide input to best source alternatives
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience presenting, communicating, and negotiating with internal and / or external audiences
  • Advanced proficiency in MS office suite including Excel
  • Maintains working knowledge of CMS rules and regulations and knowledge of procedure and diagnosis codes (CPT, ICD - 9 / 10 coding, HCPCS and DRGs)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in the health care industry (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial) with deep exposure to Payment Integrity
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a matrix  and highly adaptive environment handling tight deadlines
  • Experience implementing payment integrity products
  • Coding Certification (RHIA, RHIT, CCA, CCS, CCS - P, CPC, CPC - P, CIC, COC)
