If you're looking for a challenging position with one of the world's leading snack food companies, here's your chance to join our team as a Payroll Administrator.

As the Payroll Administrator, you play a critical role in supporting weekly payroll for approximately 700 hourly employees across our 3 sites – Lethbridge, Taber and Spitz (Bow Island). The successful candidate is energetic, organized, detailed and has a strong focus on excellent client service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer full cycle, weekly payroll for approximately 700 front line employees across three (3) different sites.
  • Research, analyze and resolves payroll related problems or questions
  • Maintain employee payroll records
  • Facilitate required training of the payroll process and overall functionality for supervisors and managers
  • Recommend or participate in the development of new procedures and policies related to payroll operations
  • The schedule is Sunday to Thursday with the core business hours between 8am – 5pm

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Three plus years of work experience in a payroll environment.
  • Canadian Payroll Association Certification preferred but not required
  • Advanced experience with SAP & Kronos
  • High proficiency with MS Office-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and attention to detail in high volume and fast paced environment
  • Energetic and positive approach to problem solving and trouble-shooting issues, can take tasks and run with it
  • Approach deadlines with a sense of urgency, energetic and positive approach to problem solving and trouble-shooting issues
  • Statutory and weekend work will be required
