Job Description
Arbour Counseling Services, Payroll office located in Braintree, MA, is currently seeking a Full-Time Payroll Specialist, benefit eligible position. The Payroll Specialist performs a variety of payroll related tasks which include maintaining employee and payroll records; reviewing, auditing, and maintaining timekeeping records, computes wage and overtime calculations, calculates and processes payroll deductions, facilitates the payroll, establishes procedures which include routine corrections to make business process documentation accurate for processing, and performs some payroll projects. As well process the Accounts Payable for one of the facilities. As a Payroll Specialist, you will: * Ensure payrolls are processed timely and accurately * Process new hires, changes, garnishment, deductions, etc. * Print checks / direct deposit stubs, prepare all for distribution * Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements Essential Duties: * Computes, processes, and reconciles payroll data. * Processes payroll runs as needed, assists other payroll team members, and assists in payroll related projects. * Reviews and audits payroll timekeeping records. * Reconciles payroll earnings such as: bonuses, and the like. * Researches and responds to routine and complex payroll related inquiries. * Processes supplemental payroll runs as needed, updates tax set-up at the employees and company level, assists in year-end process, and updates business process documentation. * Maintains, reviews, and audits employee and payroll records. * Prepares checks request for Physician payroll. * Develops and disseminates payroll reports. * Codes and keys all vendor bills in McKesson. * Maintains accounts payable records.
