Description:

Prudential Retirement is seeking an experienced Pegasystems Developer who has the right mix of technical experience with passion for managing the dynamics of a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for working with Business, DevOps, Backend and Architecture teams to successfully deliver complex cross-functional projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop complex business process automation solutions utilizing Pegasystems BPMS platform
  • Work closely with business partners and process owners to understand workflow needs and transform them into process automation components
  • Research workflow issues and provide solutions as per business or client needs
  • Actively participate in solution and design discussions to optimize processes
  • Work closely with team members including Analysts, Testers, Operations and other developers in a highly collaborative environment

  • Undergraduate or graduate level degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent work experience required
  • 4 years of experience in the development and design of complex applications utilizing Pegasystems PRPC 7
  • Proficiency in any mainstream programming language; knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Java, SQL
  • Development/Implementation/Architecture expert in Pega 7 is a plus
  • Experience with workflow integration patterns utilizing Web Services is a must
  • Ambition to learn and utilize emerging technologies while working in a stimulating team environment
  • Professional attitude and the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and tactful manner
  • Experience delivering business capabilities for Financial Services or Retirement Industry plus
  • Familiarity with continuous delivery, configuration management, continuous integration, and source control software processes and tools a requirement
  • Knowledge of different SDLC Methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc)
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills with ability to work on multiple tasks
  • Proven ability to learn and adapt to change quickly and easily
