Pfizer Essential Health APAC (PEH APAC) team is responsible for successfully maximizing the lifecycle and commercial value of post-LOE Pfizer products. PEH APAC team has commercial responsibility for a strong portfolio of promoted products to HCPs in outpatient and hospital setting.

Reporting to the Regional Commercial Lead, the Regional Key Account Management Lead will be responsible for leading the transformation of go to market model and playing an important role in steering the development and implementation of best-in-class key account management practices and programs across APAC.. The incumbent will lead the development of core activities based on the PEH strategic plan and ensure that these activities are successfully implemented to achieve short- and long-term sales/contribution objectives. The individual will play a critical role as a key business partner for the country organizations. He/she must establish credibility with key stakeholders, have strong leadership and collaboration skills and be willing to actively partner with other functions to drive meaningful business results.


+ Define and implement the KAM vision and strategy for APAC region

+ Ensure APAC key accounts/private hospital to perform beyond market standard

+ Play key role in the development of regional key account/private hospital model/strategies that can be executed, promotional messages and standard programs to maximize PEH portfolio value across key accounts/private hospital

+ Co-work with country team to identify key successful factors via data analysis, workshop conduct, execution, monitoring and capability building and develop compelling value proposition/plan to maximize accounts potential.

+ Ensure country team to identify right key accounts with optimal KAM deployment & model (role and responsibility)

+ Provide key account/private hospital management expertise to countries via proactively identifying insights and ensuring alignment with business and brand needs

+ Develop regional KAM training roadmap and conduct training program accordingly to ensure long term success through capability assessment & building which work closely with GCO training team

+ Assist country team to develop/modify key account manager training schedule routinely when appropriate

+ Lead and coordinate PEH APAC key account manager community/network to cross pollinate successful stories and accelerate learning curve

+ Monitor and manage the performance/budgets as appropriate to support specific portfolio objectives

+ Work cross-functionally/cross brands to support regional/country key account management through analysis, planning, execution and monitoring

+ Work closely with global KAM COE strategy team and customer marketing CoE to provide APAC region specific feedbacks to make sure global deliverables/supports meet APAC needs

+ Support ad-hoc projects analysis, business case development and cross TA regional projects in key accounts/private hospital to maximize the portfolio performance.



+ 10+ years pharmaceutical experience with broad knowledge of the industry and healthcare environment

+ Demonstrated ability to Llead without A authority

+ Experience and demonstration of Self Awareness, Collaboration across the Organization and Creative Problem Solving Skills

+ Proven leadership qualities and prior Key Account Management and Customer Marketing experience preferred, with a strong history of achievement and performance

+ Experience working closely with senior leadership at the CM and Regional President level and demonstration of the Senior Leader Excellence Profile competencies

+ Build internal and external relationships through partnering, anticipating needs, fulfilling expectations

+ Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders and negotiate and implement a plan that is mutually agreed upon. Build internal and external relationships through partnering, anticipating needs, fulfilling expectations

+ Strong strategic skills including effectiveness in identifying and addressing major strategic challenges (e.g., new competition, shifting market environment) and the ability to balance short term needs with long-term vision for the business

+ Ability to analyze, define and convey complex concepts and strategies in verbal and written communication to very demanding internal and external audiences

+ Demonstrated track record of high performance and producing outstanding results as a functional group leader in matrix leadership positions

+ Strong interpersonal skills are required, as well as excellent verbal communication and presentation skills

+ Experience working across cultures and partnering with colleagues who represent a diverse selection of experiences and skills

+ Previous experience in Regional leadership roles preferred and pProven results in effective market partnering is a significant advantage

+ Well-organized with the ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and effectively lead in a matrix organization


+ University degree in Science, Health Sciences or Business

MBA an advantage
