The product manager has the required skills to form and manage high performing teams that will result in the timely execution of assigned commercial responsibilities. The product manager interfaces with all plant departments, third party customers and Pfizer CenterOne to manufacture new products or extensions of existing product lines at the McPherson plant. The product manager has complete accountability for monitoring and ensuring adherence to the established business plan as approved by Pfizer CenterOne and is responsible for highlighting any risks or barriers to team progress to the site CenterOne Lead and/or plant management.


Manage and lead contract manufacturing Analysts/Specialists. Provide leadership to cross-functional teams by helping define clear realistic goals; clear barriers to team progress and facilitate rapid decision making. Manage and delegate resources in alignment with approved business plan. Raise project resource issue to management. Raise personnel issues, such as performance, directly with functional management. Must be able to effectively communicate opportunities and issues with all levels of Pfizer management as well as upper management for the third party customers (including CEO's, vice presidents and directors). Organize and facilitate effective meetings such as business review meetings and all types of internal plant meetings required throughout the year. Ability to work with and understand all functions critical to contract manufacturing's success in the plant, including Quality, Operations, Finance, warehousing/shipping, Engineering, Tech Services and Continuous Improvement. Continually develop an understanding of the skills and tasks associated with other functions. Coordinate product documentation to ensure compliance and quality product is maintained. Develop and execute on Cross functional communication plans. May be required to create financial/costs estimates for development and commercial product costs or projects and develop proposals for customers. Serve as a liaison with the Pfizer CenterOne business team and the core project team. Update and communicate all needed issues as appropriate to facilitate rapid decision making.


Bachelor Degree required / Masters preferred - The position requires technical and business competence in all aspects of the position

2-5 years Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, preferably in sterile manufacturing and a good understanding of quality and compliance requirements pertaining to cGMP.

2-5 years Managerial experience. Will manage up to 10 employees.
