The PGS BT Business Analyst will support BT related strategic initiatives at the site by working with site stakeholders to understand business requirements and collaborating with the BT Solution Areas to determine solution fit within the current systems portfolio. The position will engage with the site business to identify and define scope for continuous improvement initiatives and related solutions that can be leveraged across the PGS Plant Network.

The PGS BT Business Analyst will lead specific site projects and assist with implementation of global standard solutions at the site. The position will work with the PGS BT Site Lead to manage the site PGS BT portfolio and ensure programs are delivered to meet or exceed site goals. The position will guide the business in identifying solutions to meet local business needs through leveraging core and/or standard solutions that can be leveraged across the network wherever possible.

The PGS BT Business Analyst will facilitate and provide on-going monitoring of support for all BT systems and services (core, non-core, local, infrastructure) used at the site. The position will escalate support issues with BT Solution Areas, BTAMS, and BTI teams as needed. If required, the PGS BT Analyst will support local BT applications not under BTAMS scope.

**Role Responsibilities**

+ Partner with site business clients and Operating Units to understand and analyze business process requirements and identify appropriate solutions to meet unmet needs.

+ Engage with the business to identify and define scope for continuous improvement, innovative, and Best Practice initiatives and assist or lead those initiatives to improve the efficiency of processes and systems at the site.

+ Collaborate with the BT Solution Areas (PGS BT, ERP, BTI, etc.) to determine solution fit within the current and future systems portfolio to improve business processes.

+ Propose system and/or process and/or data/configuration changes to increase business and systems operational efficiency

+ Support global BT project deployments (core solutions) and global BT-related continuous improvement initiatives at the site working in partnership with PGS BT Site Lead, PGS BT Solution Area teams, and other BT teams and Business SMEs as required.

+ Support the PGS BT Site Lead in building strong partnerships with key stakeholders that increases the understanding of business needs and works towards maximizing the value of our BT investments at the site. Support the PGS BT Site Lead in the on-going management of the business systems POR and systems/service portfolio.

+ Partner with the PGS BT Global Solution Areas, BTAMS, and BTI to ensure the systems and services support provided meets the expectation of the business users. Monitor the service being delivered to the site while escalating critical service issues and addressing unsatisfactory support metrics.

+ When appropriate, the position will perform analysis, design, and drive development/implementation of continuous improvement solutions that meet local business requirements and can be leveraged across multiple sites in the network.

+ Provide support for local systems that have not transitioned to the BTAMS support model.

+ Monitor metrics to ensure complete and proper execution of BT related systems and services operational process in accordance with cGMP and Pfizer standards. Initiate corrective measures as necessary.

+ Engage with PGS BT Compliance to ensure the right policies and programs are in place to maintain system compliance with cGMP regulations and Pfizer policies and standards.

+ Support the BT Site Lead in their role in the compliance/validation space within PGS BT as outlined in the PGS BT Compliance Playbook.

+ In partnership with the PGS BT Site Lead, act as the BT Point of Contact at the site providing site knowledge and insight to BT Solution Area teams during solution deployments and providing feedback and site updates that may be relevant or of interest to the BT Site Community.


+ Bachelors of Science or related Business/Technical field required.

+ Minimum of 3-5 years eperience in information technology systems and/or infrastructure with minimum of 1-3 years related experience in the pharmaceutical or fine chemical industry.

+ Demonstrated capability to communicate effectively; embrace diversity; influence stakeholders and build business partnerships to deliver results.

+ Additional required competencies include business systems subject knowledge; manufacturing process and automation systems knowledge; business acumen; experience with Lean/Operational Excellence tools and driving process efficiencies through process reengineering; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Functional/Technical Knowledge: Applies extensive information technology expertise and pharmaceutical specific expertise to role. Demonstrated skills in leading, planning, and developing successful business systems and infrastructure services projects. Knowledge and expertise with the following disciplines desired:

Project Management methodologies (i.e., PMI)

Software Development Life Cycle methodologies

Continuous Improvement methodologies (i.e, Six Sigma certified)

Management of IT infrastructure (i.e., ITIL certified)

GMP and associated regulatory requirements
