Job Details


Performs light inspection and/or a limited number of manual and/or automated manufacturing support functions. This may include line clearance, outfeed/accumulation, scale operation, overwrap, cartooning/casing, canning, labeling, capping stoppering, and equipment/machine cleaning and sanitation.


+ Follow SOPs, cGMPs, batch records, TCPs, BOMs and POPs.

+ Perform light inspection and retain certification. Ensures product quality during the production process.

+ Perform line clearances.

+ Check in cages and warehouse materials.

+ Prepare documentation of sterilization and daily tags.

+ Notify Group Leader/Supervisor of all safety issues.

+ Perform all tasks in a safe manner.

+ Maintain proper documentation - batch records, check sheets, log books.

+ Insure preventative maintenance is current.

+ Pull and deliver QC samples.

+ Be punctual.

+ Staying current with training requirements.

+ Perform room and equipment sanitation.

+ Promote a positive team environment.

+ Any other duties as assigned.


+ Must be able to communicate and work well interdepartmentally, as well as, with all plant departments.

+ Must be able to read and write, as well as, follow written and oral instructions.

+ Must be capable of performing data entry into calculators and computers.



Requires enough basic education to understand and follow standard practice or oral instruction, use simple arithmetic, keep simple records, or use simple office machines. (Up to and including high school)


+ Must be able to lift 35-45 lbs. sporadically and 10-20 lbs frequently; including lifting above shoulders

+ Must be able to withstand exposure to inks, solvents, heat, steam and liquids.

+ Stand for up to 8 to 12 hours depending on assigned area.

+ Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
