Description **ROLE SUMMARY**

Performs light inspection and/or a limited number of manual and/or automated manufacturing support functions.

This may include line clearance, outfeed/accumulation, scale operation, overwrap, cartoning/casing, labeling, capping stoppering, and equipment/machine cleaning and sanitation.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

Perform light inspection and retain certification. Ensures product quality during the production process. Operate Dabrico's, labelers, canning, casers, overwraps, checkweighers, and other machinery per assigned room. Maintain proper documentation - batch records, check sheets, log books. Perform room and equipment sanitation. Insure preventative maintenance is current. Follow SOPs, cGMPs, batch records, TCPs, BOMs and POPs. Staying current with training requirements. Perform all tasks in a safe manner. Promote a positive team environment.



**QUALIFICATIONS**

Requires enough basic education to understand and follow standard practice or oral instruction, use simple arithmetic, keep simple records, or use simple office machines. Must be capable of performing data entry into calculators and computers. (High school diploma required)



**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**

Must be able to lift 35-45 lbs. sporadically and 10-20 lbs. frequently; including lifting above shoulders

Must be able to withstand exposure to inks, solvents, heat, steam and liquids.

Stand for up to 8 to 12 hours depending on assigned area.

Vision must be correctable to 20/20.

Must be able to communicate and work well interdepartmentally, as well as, with all plant departments.

Must be able to read and write, as well as, follow written and oral instructions.
