Description **SUMMARY:**

Responsible to lead the assigned team to achieve goals set by management. Ensure the assigned team keeps training current on all cGMP requirements. Promote safe, efficient and effective task completion by all team members.


Follow SOPs, cGMPs, batch records, TCPs, BOMs and POPs. Must be able to lift 55 to 75 lbs. Push, pull heavy carts or tanks. Must be able to withstand exposure to inks, solvents and liquids. Stand for up to 8 to 12 hours depending on assigned area. Vision must be correctable to 20/20. Must be able to push, pull and/or lift above shoulders. Must be able to communicate and work well interdepartmentally, as well as, with all plant departments. Must be able to read and write, as well as, follow and provide written and oral instructions. Must be capable of performing data entry into calculators, computers and verifying correctness of batch record documentation. Maintain accurate shop floor clock entries and correct as needed. Must be able to gown aseptically and retain certification depending on the assigned area. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and have a problem solving mindset. Stay current with training requirements for self and team. Notify PES/Supervisor of all safety issues. Perform all tasks in a safe manner. Maintain proper documentation - batch records, check sheets, log books. Be punctual. Perform room and equipment sanitation. Must motivate and foster team work amongst staff. Deliver expectations on financial and quality goals. The Group Leader performance is tied to team performance. Monitor and direct rotations for breaks and lunches. Recognize process inefficiencies and recommend improvement. Must have the ability to work among distractions and changing routines. Needs to be able to multi-task and lead by example. Communicates openly and clearly with line personnel and supervision to accomplish manufacturing goals.


Requires ability to understand and carry out assigned duties effectively. Knowledge needed of specialized business processes such as elementary accounting procedures, operation of equipment such as bookkeeping and billing machines, basic computer operations and normal office procedures. **(High school diploma required plus additional specialized courses or experience preferred)**
