SWHS consists of two acute-care hospitals:  Inland Valley Medical Center and Rancho Springs Medical Center. 

Inland Valley Medical Center

A 122 bed acute care hospital which features the regions only Level II Trauma Unit, Center of Excellence in Weight Loss Surgery, Total Joint Surgery (Hip, Knee, Shoulder), & is a Stroke Certified medical center.

Rancho Springs Medical Center

A 120 bed acute care hospital which includes the region’s largest birthing center along with the area’s only NICU & Pediatric ER, a partnership with Radys Children’s Hospital, the region’s  first Da Vinci Robotic Surgical Program and a Stroke Certified medical center

Job Requirements

:

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Knowledgeable of and complies with laws, rules and regulations that govern the practice of pharmacy.
  • Pyxis experience with knowledge of Pyxis Reports (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.)
  • Competence with IV admixture and aseptic technique, Unit Dose packaging.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1 years of experience preferred.
  • Preferred 1-3 year of Hospital experience.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

  • Minimum High School Graduate/Equivalent
  • Preferred Technical School/ 1-2 Year College/ Associate’s Degree

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

  • Preferred certified technician training/licensure
