Physical Therapist / Chiropractor Regional Market Lead - Minneapolis, MN(Job Number:701929)

Regional Market Leads at Orthology have overall responsibility for the growth and performance of Orthology’s business in their assigned region(s).  Working with practice owners where appropriate, they ensure the clinics in their region(s) meet financial, quality and growth targets while cultivating a great place to work for all Orthology employees and driving adoption of Orthology practice standards. Market Leaders also seek out and cultivate new growth opportunities in the region(s) that are consistent with Orthology’s overall company strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership to assigned region(s), driving achievement of market, clinic and individual goals and holding clinic managers and employees in regional accountable:
  • Overall performance - Ensures clinical locations in designated market area achieve key performance indicators; regularly evaluates regional performance data and works with clinic managers to correct any performance issues

    • Patient outcomes
  • Operating model - Ensures consistent adoption of Orthology operating practices and procedures at all clinics in designated market area; identifies opportunities for improvement and works across clinical and corporate teams to drive alignment and continuous improvement
    • Conducts regular site reviews of clinical locations to monitor adoption of practice standards and ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations
    • Works with clinic managers to ensure successful rollout of any changes to methodology or procedures
    • Monitors changes to legal and regulatory requirements in designated market area and partners with corporate teams to ensure ongoing legal compliance
  • Marketing/outreach - In partnership with corporate marketing team, develops and executes marketing and referral source strategy for designated market area
    • Develops key senior-level relationships within the market that will drive volume (e.g., large employers, Health system administrators, fitness chains, large employers, etc.)
    • Defines and executes local marketing activities and events within allocated budget
  • Competitive/regulatory intelligence - Monitors regulatory and competitive developments in designated market area to identify opportunities and potential challenges to Orthology business
  • Business Development - In partnership with corporate development team (COO, product development, real estate, analysts), establishes and executes growth strategy for designated market area consistent with Orthology priorities
    • Identifies, plans, and opens new locations to achieve return on investment goals
    • Identifies acquisition targets, negotiates favorable terms of closure and drives practice integration to deliver return on investment goals
    • Identifies and establishes strategic relationships with market partners
  • Staffing/Team development and engagement - Partners with HR and clinic leaders to ensure clinics are staffed appropriately in market area
    • Selects and develops clinic leaders
    • Regularly reviews performance and development of clinical staff with clinic leaders
    • Works with clinic leaders to anticipate and prepare for future staffing needs
    • Works with clinic leaders to ensure effective deployment of providers across clinics to ensure coverage and optimize performance across market area
    • Manage salary and bonus incentives in a manner that rewards performance excellence and maximizes staff retention while meeting budget requirements
    • Maintain overall accountability for clinical team development and performance
    • Ensure training, on-going education and skill development of the health services staff
    • Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate corporate and site-specific culture while addressing issues and concerns
    • Lead project groups that provide skill building opportunities and the ability to display leadership capabilities
  • Practicing clinician of Orthology methodology at least 1 day a week, in coordination with other duties
  • Travel as directed, estimated under 50%
