Texoma Medical Center, a 351-bed healthcare system has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Position Summary:  

Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer or other staff physicians, the Physician Assistant will provide primary health care services as a member of a health care team comprised of Health Center physicians and mid-level practitioners, as well as health aides and nursing personnel. Primary responsibilities relate to management of health care for certain patients and families as assigned.
Education and Formal Training:
Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program recognized by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners.
Licenses and certifications:
Current licensure as a Physician Assistant
Approval to work as an Physician Assistant by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners.
Certifications as Physician Assistant by a recognized national or state organization.
Work Experience:
 Two to three years of medical surgical experience in a medical surgical setting.
