Job Description

Assists and supports identified IPM facilities with physician recruitment efforts through the screening of potential physician candidates. Candidates are identified through the use of internal and external resources as provided by IPM. Maintains regular contact with facility CEOs and/or designated staff in the facility managing recruitment. Obtains relevant information regarding recruiting assignments from these relationships. Receives direction and feedback during the course of the recruitment activity. Submits potential qualified candidates for consideration and manages the candidate activity process to its end with both the hospital and physician candidates. Maintains document records of all activity in a timely manner for reporting. 1. Initiates and manages full cycle physician recruitment process for assigned hospitals: - develops position profiles - develops strategy and activity for sourcing of qualified candidates - contacts and presents practice information to candidates - coordinates communications and submittals to hospitals managing full cycle of activity with all parties involved to closure Timely manages job entries on physician internet job sites utilized by department. Accurate and timely records all recruitment activity in department database and shared department drive documents. Develops and conducts as needed direct mail, internet mail, calling or other sourcing projects. Completes other miscellaneous support and recruitment activities as needed – including but not limited to: research on industry activity related to physician recruitment activities, compensation data, physician distribution and characteristics, trends, visa sponsorship eligibility, etc. Coordinates contact with assorted vendors and service representatives that may include: outside staffing/recruitment firms; advertising representatives; professional organizations. 2. Represents IPM at physician job fairs, specialty education conferences and/or residency program presentations as assigned. 3. Performs other duties as assigned/required.
