Position Title: PMO Analyst

·         Works under direction of the Project Portfolio Manager, to manage portfolio of over 50 projects leveraging both waterfall & agile methodologies

·         Responsible for resource capacity planning / demand management against the Customer Office  Project Portfolio. While ensuring our organization’s projects and resources are aligned with the strategic plans of our business.  

·         Assist in development of Executive Dashboards for overseeing and reporting all activity related to the portfolio including prioritization.

·         Strategic Roadmap development for Project / Portfolio Management Optimization.  

·         Assist in monitoring and maintaining  dependencies and portfolio-level register, including risks to strategic goals, using risk management processes in order to support decision making.

·         Interact with project stakeholders, Project Managers and CO Senior Leadership Team to help ensure the accuracy of information in the Project Portfolio.

·         Assist in providing “toll gate” oversight to ensure proper documentation has been appropriately completed prior to moving from one project stage to another (i.e. planning to execution).

·         Assists in the gathering and compiling of project status reports from Project Managers for Senior Leadership consumption.

·         Assist in collecting and consolidating key performance metric data, as defined by the portfolio governance and using various techniques, in order to measure the health of the portfolio.

·         Assist in the creation and delivery of communications to portfolio stakeholders.

·         Manage the Portfolio Management SharePoint site which serves as the centralized repository of documentation for PMO initiatives.

·         Assist in the creation and maintenance of Best in Class Project Portfolio Management templates.

·         Assist in the configuration of our Portfolio Management Tool (Clarity PPM / Microsoft Project Server )


·         Fluent in Microsoft Office products (such as Excel and PowerPoint) to assist in basic data analysis and to create effective presentations

·          Hands-on Project Management experience (Project Management Office/Portfolio Management  experience a plus) 3 years

·         Experience in managing IT and non-IT projects (Project scope, resource and quality management process improvement)

·         Effective communication, negotiating, stakeholder relationship skills
