Texoma Medical Center, a 351-bed healthcare system has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Position Summary: Overall supervision of all check-in, check-out, pre-certification, insurance verification, and financial counseling. Responsible for maintaining minimum level of error rates and patient wait time goals as set by management. Provide direction and support to clinic personnel and maintain positive working relationships with the TexomaCare physicians who practice in the clinic.


A bachelors degree. However, 4 or more years experience in physician practice management may be considered as equivalent in lieu of the bachelors' degree. Clinical experience as a registered nurse also may be considered as equivalent in lieu of the bachelors' degree.

3 years experience in physician practice management.

Working knowledge of health care in a physician office environment, including but not limited to coding, reimbursement and compliance issues. Typing and computer skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, familiar with medical terminology, strong work ethic.
