We are looking for Pre-sales Systems Engineer to join Cisco’s Service Provider team in London. Join our team, and we’ll work together to match our clients with the flawless Cisco solutions for them. We’ll count on you to showcase our broad palette of Cisco technologies. Because we value your rare insight, we’ll trust you to build and execute both our overall account plans and technical plans.

In addition to these opportunities, you’ll also have the chance to develop new sales opportunities / franchises and build enduring relationships with your customers. You’re dedicated, so we know you’ll generate leads through the meetings, seminars, and continuing education programs you’ll get to attend. These include technical excellence, business economics, industry trends, vertical markets, and Cisco’s financial and strategic value. You’ll then use this knowledge to develop proofs of concept that you can proudly present to clients.

In this Pre-sales Systems Engineer you will be in charge of the following activities:

- Develop consultative approach for a direct touch sales model.

- Provide technical and sales support to customers.

- Perform technical presentations and develop strong interlock within Cisco functions.

- Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.

- Support and address critical projects as well as critical situation and Customer concerns, as needed.

- Actively participate as a specialist in technology and provide consultative support in the area of specialization to other Systems Engineers.


Who You’ll Work with

­­As a pre-sales technical specialist, your primary relationship is with the customer, whom you’ll meet with face-to-face and whom you’ll help around making the best decisions for their businesses.

To accomplish that goal, you’ll be working with Account Managers showcasing Cisco product solutions, setting up demonstrations and explaining features and benefits to customers, crafting and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.


Who You Are

Should you be interested to join Cisco for this Pre-sales Systems Engineer role you should bring:

  • 5+ years of work experience in a pre-sales role in Service Provider IP or Mobility technologies.  
  • Strong knowledge in Mobile Packet Core, X86 SDN, NFV, OpenStack, automation would be highly appreciated.
  • Fluency in English combined with excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.
  • A high sense of ownership, coupled with a strong focus on achieving results.
  • Very good interpersonal skills, capable of building trust relationships internally and at our customers.
  • Great teammate, willing to help others and prepared to ask for help when necessary.
