Description This position will be responsible for providing leadership and technical oversight for the hardware platform and for the build/test/deploy/run infrastructure used by software development teams. GD&A BizOps is an innovative, fast-moving Agile software development organization which supports a number of software tools used by internal AT&T work centers. This position will be part of a Shared Services team that maintains the development and production platform and tools used by the development teams. This individual will provide leadership to implement mature DevOps/CI/CD processes among the teams using shared hardware infrastructure.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain an inventory of our virtual server environment, including what apps are running on each server

• Make recommendations to add/move/change the capacity of each server, or the configuration of which apps run on which server, in order to balance utilization

• Act as a liaison between development teams and the teams who build and run the servers (initiate change requests, serve as a technical contact, implement a consistent process, provide status, perform escalations)

• Investigate alternatives such as the AIC (AT&T Integrated Cloud) and container technologies (Docker) and make recommendations to migrate and modernize

• Coordinate all VPMO requests for additional hardware

• Design and administer UAM security roles

• Assist with security compliance, firewall change requests, audits, etc.

• Administer a shared implementation of Jenkins

• Assist teams to create automated build/deployment processes using Jenkins

• Design and administer an environment that teams can use for automated regression testing as part of the software build process (for example: Selenium, Nightwatch)

**Key Competencies and Skills:**

• Solid technical background in Linux systems administration and software development

• Knowledge of DevOps/Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools and processes, including Jenkins

• Operational experience within Service Assurance and/or Service Delivery domains – advantage but not required

• Strong communication skills – written, verbal

• Excellent analytical ability with problem solving attitude

• Team player, including negotiation and resolution experience

• Superb organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking

**Education and Qualifications:**

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
