Description

The Principal Product Manager for leading the product strategy, roadmap, and rollout of Connect Service Workshop. The primary focus for the individual in this will be defining and executing on the roadmap for Connected Service Workshop. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Management Dealer Tools, the individual in this role works deeply with scrum teams, architects, UX designers, other product managers, and product marketing to share the vision for Connected Service Workshop, ensure our solution meets well defined requirements and the prioritize roadmap.


Your role:

  • Establish, evangelize and implement a product roadmap for Connected Service Workshop
  • Plan roadmaps according to strong product visions, bounded by finite engineering resources
  • Acts as the product partner with development managers or architects to ensure the team clearly understands requirements and priorities.
  • Define product requirements including writing clear, detailed, and thorough requirements for complex features and products
  • Establish and implement methods for measuring the internal and external value of Connected Service Workshop
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources
  • Define clear success criteria for the Connected Service Workshop implementation.
  • Serve as a SME on the solution’s capabilities, gaps, and future plans with internal external/stakeholders
  • Motivate the product teams to own the delivery of Connected Service Workshop
  • Manage the Connected Service Workshop Product portfolio. Duties growing over time.
  • Performs other duties as requested

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6+ Product Management experience a must. 
  • Ability to understand complex workflows, break them down and transform them into a better user experience.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and deeply with cross-functional and cross-solution teams
  • Product Management experience starting a new team from scratch
  • Demonstrable experience touching all aspects of product management from deep work with scrum teams to product marketing and product operations.
  • Proficient agile practitioner
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% is an absolute must

Preferred:

  • Masters or MBA desired
  • Retail dealerships parts and service operations knowledge
  • Deep understanding of dealer management systems complex workflow used by managers, advisors, technicians and parts personnel
  • Deep Knowledge of Retail Automotive Dealer Management Systems such as DT DMS, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds and others
  • Knowledge of CRM and scheduling systems that are automotive specific are strongly desired
