Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Pro Sales Traffic Coordinator acts as a gatekeeper for pro special order and stock requests. The position is responsible for in-bound quote requests via email, SharePoint and Saleforce received from The Home Depot stores and the pro outside sales team. The Pro Sales Traffic Coordinator organizes and evaluates the complexity of quote requests and distributes them to the proper agent for resolution. Purchase orders are reviewed and assigned to agents for processing. The Traffic Coordinator serves as a liaison between the stores, pro sales team, merchants and suppliers in order to process complex bids involving pricing, sourcing and follow-up regarding quotes, purchase orders and ETA on orders.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 80%- Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers by ensuring effective distribution and processing of quote requests to the Pro Support team. Serves as a liaison involving pricing, sourcing and follow-up regarding quotes, purchase orders and tracking of orders.
  • 10%- Fosters relationships to maintain open communication throughout order process.
  • 10%- Researches and identifies viable quotes and provides alternate options for quote requests

NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to the Sr. Manager Pro Support.
This position has 3-5 direct reports.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior retail/home improvement experience
  • Experience in contact center environment
  • Knowledge of retail systems including ESVS, SPOS, Measure Comp, etc.
