Description

Kelley Blue Book (KBB) is looking for an experienced Product Delivery Manager to join our Consumer Product team. This role will be responsible for managing the execution of KBB’s Owner products across multiple platforms within an Agile Scrum Framework. The role includes but is not limited to working with a respective Delivery team to ensure product commitments are achieved. In addition, the role will work with Leadership Team to develop a product roadmap, manage the execution of the product and working with a cross-functional team to develop products that meet the needs of KBB, our consumers & clients.

The role is responsible for overall product success as measured customer adoption, revenue growth (short and long-term) and product performance. The product delivery manager will typically partner with other ad product, ad operations, analytics and sales to develop & enhance the kbb.com data product offering.

Your Role:
  • Collaborate with Product Leadership Team, Scrum Master and other stakeholders to understand the business need & product goals to create & maintain the product roadmap
  • Be the voice of the consumer & client, motivate product development teams by providing clear goals and user cases driving the incremental value that can be delivered to our consumers & clients
  • Translate and organize business requirements and product features into executable functional requirements in the form of epics, stories, and tasks
  • Work with the team during sprint planning to establish and manage the product backlog, always considering the team’s established velocity
  • Remain available to the development team to answer questions and deliver direction regarding acceptance criteria, customer needs, and work priorities
  • Assist the engineering teams during regular scrum ceremonies: sprint sizing, sprint planning, sprint review, backlog refinement and product demos by being the voice of the consumer & clients while communicating the value behind each product and prioritization decision
  • Conduct user acceptance testing on features and bug fixes before they are released, ensuring the high quality of products that are being delivered to customers
  • Analyze product and feature performance through the use of quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Communicate to leadership and other stakeholders rollout plans, feature details and bug status updates

Qualifications

  • College Degree (BA/BS, or advanced degree – MBA Preferred)
  • Demonstrated success as a Product Manager in product lifecycle management (minimum 1-3 years) including: 
    • Developing and launching new products or features
    • Developing opportunity assessments and/or business cases
    • Developing concept and product definitions
    • Product monitoring and evaluation
    • Product optimization and extension
  • Understanding of the advertising landscape
  • Preferred experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Digital Media/Advertising
    • Internet/Mobile Products
    • Automotive Industry
  • Soft skills to quickly gain the confidence, trust and support of internal clients and stakeholders. 
  • Excellent written, presentation, communication and listening skills
  • Strong problem solving experience
  • Experience and understanding of the automotive ecosystem including OEMs, national agencies and regional ad associations is a plus.
