ADP is hiring a Product Manager (PM) to be part of the Health Care Reform portfolio in our Roseland, NJ location. Health Care Reform helps clients comply with the Employer Mandate portion of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). We are looking for an energetic, self-driven, highly passionate product manager to deliver of well-designed, innovative and responsive products that balance compliance and convenience for millions of people around the world.

Working closely with the Senior Product Owner (SPO), you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of key features and capabilities, delivered in an agile development environment. You will be responsible for managing, publishing and evangelizing your product roadmap, and shape its vision as part of the Health Care Reform portfolio. You will also be responsible for conducting market analysis that help drive requirements and deliver innovative solutions that delight our end users, including evaluating customer insights, drive product launch activities and ongoing market-facing support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Senior Product Owner's strategy by articulating the vision and mission of the product roadmap, including implementation and prioritization, collaborating with key business units within ADP
  • Apply knowledge in Health Care Reform space to help shape strategic direction and priorities for our services
  • Work directly with scrum development teams in creating and grooming features and user stories, planning sprints and releases, conducting retrospectives, tracking and improving velocity\u2028
  • Develop user stories and requirements while evaluating their potential and practicality by analyzing market and customer needs
  • Drive customer centric and user centric design, acceptance testing and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution
  • Act as user champion when coordinating product development with business stakeholder and align all development activity with business goals and priorities
  • Manage the product backlog (grooming, prioritization and refinement), working day-to-day with the product team to clarify requirements, balance business needs with technical requirements, and recommend alternative technical approaches to meet design requirements when needed
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and service on the development of product positioning, demo design, training courses, sales collateral, etc. to ensure that business objectives are achieved
  • Drive data driven product decisions through metrics and define and maintain the product scorecard\u2028
  • Act as user champion when coordinating product development with business stakeholders and align all development activity with business goals and priorities



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 3+ years of experience in project or product management in a market-facing software and enterprise solutions product management role, including experience in Agile Development methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field or equivalent in education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills, excelling at presentation to business and technical audiences
  • Able to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas to a broad range of stakeholders
  • Analytic skills to synthesize data, provide business level metrics and communicate based on data
  • Capable of managing multiple stakeholders on the best course of action for the product


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Intimate knowledge of Health Care Reform laws and regulations.
