What You'll Do
You understand market disruption and how to create opportunities in rapidly changing markets. You are interested in helping service providers understand how to build new offerings that solve critical security problems in an evolving threat environment. You have a deep understanding of the $17B managed security services market and want to create differentiated products that will accelerate our ability to monetize cloud, as-a-Service and managed security offers by market segment. You have the ability to work with cross functional engineering teams to define requirements and use Agile processes to take concepts through feature prioritizations, on to product development and ultimate product delivery.  You have the unique ability to develop the strategy, build the relationships with executives that garner support, communicate your vision to obtain buy-in from key stakeholders and run the execution of the program from requirements definition to launch and support. You have a desire to engage with sales and our customers to provide business development support and drive the ongoing success of a managed security service provider program.
You want to lead a virtual team that will collaborate with product owners and select groups across Cisco to create a holistic approach to defining and developing product and software offers for the MSSP market and construct a consistent onboarding process, define management, define cross product security features for MSSP offers, API and user interface standards and create go-to-market strategies that include pricing, packaging and new consumption models. You understand what is needed to support solutions and how to engage cross-functionally to define and develop required service offers.

Who You'll Work With You excel working in virtual teams that include engineering, sales, marketing, finance, legal and partners to create go-to-market plans that will target, recruit and support service provider partners. You are comfortable working across product lines and owning the role of the subject matter expert for product managers, engineers, sales and marketing. 

Who You Are You are a product manager who understands product management, marketing and security architectures. You are self-motivated and can manage the success of major projects and initiatives including high level strategy, complex solution strategies and major market programs and initiatives. You integrate customer and market requirements and align with Cisco products and services teams to prioritize investment. You understand the security market and react quickly to competitive and market opportunities and align the response with your business objectives. You have problem-solving skills to resolve cross-organization process issues. You feel it's a priority to proactively manage metrics to assure revenue, profit and growth targets are met or exceeded. You prioritize customer satisfaction issues. You are able to create research papers, blogs, and speak publicly and to our customer's C-level executives. You have a passion for security.
