Who You'll Work With
The South East Asia Regional Operations team is responsible for in-region manufacturing operational excellence and execution of key quality, delivery and supply chain metrics at the factories where our three main manufacturing partners are located.

Cisco Production Material Manager (PMM) will be responsible for supporting and managing the supply chain operations with the Manufacturing partners (MPa)  and ensuring the supply chain continuity and delivery metrics is met. In this role, intensive optical supply chain and program management knowledge are required along with basic business acumen, judgment, analytical thinking. 

What You'll Do 

*Manage the supply chain for product families at MPa. Actions may have a global impact.
*Leads, manages and drives the MPa and component suppliers to meet key operational metrics
*Anticipates supply chain issues before they occur and drives improvements to avoid them. Makes some strategy recommendations to manager
*Leads cross functional teams in developing long-term solutions to address operational challenges of a complex nature which require cross-functional / cross organizational issue resolution
*Completes work tasks and makes decisions with almost no direction from manager
*Goals and objectives are developed independently with final approval from manager. Recommends team goals to manager

Who You Are

*Typically requires BA/BS/BEng or equivalent plus 8+ years manufacturing experience. MBA is an added advantage.

*Extensive experience of manufacturing planning and supply chain management for a multinational or global company with strong knowledge of electronic industry supply chain. 
*Experience in Contract Manufacturing and production operations; with good overall knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain 
*Ability to develop solutions to complex problems which require creativity.
*Self starter, self motivated: Ability to thrive in a remote setting (immediate team, direct line manager and dotted line managers can be located in different countries/time zones) 
*Results oriented and metric focused. 
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
*Skilled in influencing, persuasion, and negotiation. Demonstrates ability to influence teams to achieve shared vision and drive accountability.
*Ability to thrive in cross-functional environment. Ability to work well with a variety of people from different functions and cultures and in a virtual team setting, as well as having the flexibility to take on different roles/responsibilities as projects evolve and change 
* Strong leadership skills. 
* Demonstrated achievements in excellent project management 
*Ability to drive initiatives from start to end, on time, within budget and expectations
