Sales Business Development Manager for EPN architecture is a crucial role to the success of Cisco’s business transformation.

The Team
Our EPN/VI and ESP architecture team is responsible for driving both the biggest revenue and the most strategic initiatives for entire GSP team from the architecture perspective.

We are a team of specialists who enable the sales team to drive the two important architecture for Cisco (EPN and ESP).

This individual is responsible for driving the excitement of Cisco Software strategy as well as successfully managing the infrastructure business transformation.

Role & Responsibilities
● Create new business from scratch.
● Have a sense of owner ship for your own project.
● Build a sales strategy and plan for our EPN/ESP architecture for Service Provider segment in Japan. Define how Cisco can add the values to the customer’s business. Understand customer’s business problem. Figure out the ways how combination of Cisco product and services can help solve our customer’s business problem.
● Become the front-runner of the new business model, new architecture and new products. Learn the new business processes, business model, and business transformation ideas faster than others and enable the sales team to drive it to success.
● Drive the relevance and win the customer mind share by selling the exciting software story while managing the business model transformation of Cisco’s one of the largest Infrastructure

Minimum Qualifications
● Ability to build the business from scratch.
● Should be motivated to work on a highly complex and extremely large deals which are under high scrutiny.
● Build the plan/strategy, execute on each phase of the sales process.
● Should be able to communicate very well with technology specialists, support organization, sales teams, partner teams, Cisco partners and customers to manage the sales process and produce the result.
● Must be a self-starter.
● Thorough understanding of the Service Provider industry.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or Business Development Roles.
● Fluent in both English and Japanese

Desired Skills
● Preferably candidates should have strong strategic thinking, fact-based analytical skills and relationship building skills in major account environment.
● Experience in software sales process is a plus.
● Motivation to build and drive a new business model is a big plus. This role is not about running a run rate business to meet the booking target.
● Should be able to work with and influence the resources cross functionally and able tomanage ina matrix management hierarchy.
● Strong will or desire to become the change agent in the company.
