What You'll Do
This is a Software sales role with primary responsibility to meet/exceed the software sales target for Japan theatre. Other responsibilities include but not limited to: 
* Accurate Weekly SW Sales forecasting
* Driving sales enablement for new and existing SW buying programs
* Accelerate and increasing DNA (Digital Network Architecture) software install base
* Close interlock with Japan sales and architecture sales management to leverage their teams towards software sales
* Interaction with Corporate Business units in US to provide feedback specific to Japan market
* Meet and present at customer and partner meetings regularly, educating and proposing SW sales buying programs with detailed business case through TCO or other analysis
* Plan and execute SW sales workshops/roadshows for internal sales as well as partners

The Enterprise Networking team is one of the largest booking contribution & performing teams in the region with a set of highly motivated, driving and transforming next generation network architecture, 
mature individuals who have done exceptionally well in the last 2 years of this team formation. This ever-growing team is considered the spearhead in helping enabling Cisco Sales and partners towards SDN software selling as well as working closely with cisco product architecture teams. This team also drives the Japan point of view with the global business unit teams in US to drive customization and localization of software for the Japan market. The team environment is extremely friendly and there is a lot of information sharing that happens within the team in terms of success and learnings.

Who You Are 
Minimum Qualifications
* 10 years of relevant IT sales in Japan, preferably Network related products
* Mandatory background/knowledge of IP Networking architectures skills (dose not matter of Sales or SE)
* Good background/knowledge of Software licensing models and Enterprise IT architectures (Not Mandatory)
* Graduate or post-graduate with business/sales degrees

Desired Skills
* Ability to work comprehend and learn new software buying programs
* Ability to work closely with Cisco and partner sales teams
* Ability to present to customer CXO and in Cisco/partner events
* Work closely with Japan sales management to drive SDN SW sales
* Ability to work flexibly and independently with minimum management
* Ability to take initiative and drive success
