WHAT YOU'LL DO


Work closely with product management, technical marketing engineers, and sale specialists to understand product differentiators, the roadmap and competitor weaknesses. You will use this information to position and market key technical and business advantages.


You will become an expert on customer personas and the dynamics of the buying center. Collaborate with the corporate research team, sales and product management organizations, channel partners and customers to continuously develop Cisco’s understanding of data center customer needs and buying center dynamics


You will partner with a virtual team of marketing and sales enablement professionals to drive creation and management of integrated product and solutions content. Examples include solutions briefs, case studies, white papers, customer presentations, videos, blogs, wikis and webcasts


You will partner with specialized Cisco marketing functions to innovate in the areas of community building and social media. Maximize efficient and direct lines of communications to influencers and stakeholders

The Cisco Data Center Product and Solutions Marketing team is seeking a Product & Solutions Marketing Manager for Cisco’s new hyperconverged infrastructure platform, Cisco HyperFlex Systems. From launch in 2016, HyperFlex has been rapidly adopted by thousands of customers and has been a key solution to the software define infrastructure growth of Cisco. We are helping customers build a Data Center foundation for Digital Transformation.



WHO YOU ARE

-  Do you offer domain expertise in data center computing and storage topics including: hyperconverged infrastructure, distributed storage, software defined storage, object storage; backup and recovery solutions, servers and data center networking?


-  Do you have the demonstrated ability to build and implement a technology and solutions marketing plan including opportunity identification, offer development, customer segmentation and competitive analysis?


-  Do you have the ability to devise simple verbal and graphical representations of complex, nuanced concepts?


-  Do you have the ability to structure customer-centric product positioning and messaging, align to corporate themes and gracefully de-position competitors


-  Do you offer experience as a technology spokesperson with PR and AR audiences preferably having presented at industry events?


-  You offer a Bachelors degree or preferably an MBA.


-  You bring 5+ years of technology product or solution outbound marketing experience with you.


-  You bring domain expertise in some or all of date center servers, storage systems, and related systems management technologies


-  You are proficient in message development, writing and presentation skills. 


-  You are ready to supply public examples of messaging and content you have developed during the evaluation process
