As a Product Technology Specialist , the primary focus of this role is to provide high quality technical expertise, guidance and support to the Client Support Center associates, Implementation associates, BES, Product Management, Development and all other functional areas involved in the resolution of technical product issues via phone or remote system access for all ADP Internet products/applications supported. This position is oriented around problem identification, application & system analysis, innovating solutions to highly complex client issues and utilizing product knowledge, problem-solving skills and troubleshooting experience to resolve anomalous product issues In addition, it is an expectation of the business that Product Support Consultants remain current on emerging technology and deliver expert support over new product rollouts and/or existing offerings to the end user community.

THINGS YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities

  • Provide expert level conception, creation and support for access and security tools and application use for TAM administration
  • This will include partnering with resources in Operations, R&D, GSO, Service, other ADP product teams, and other matrixed resources to determine and document best practices for user access profiles, system enhancements, and integration requirements.
  • Troubleshoots and identifies system vs. user problems. Makes decisions based on procedures, policies, and standards. Responds to request in specified time frames based on priority. Identifies feature incompatibilities and advises alternative approaches to achieve desired effect.
  • Leverage tools (synthetic transactions, end user monitoring, SQL Tools, etc.) to research and trouble-shoot client cases.
  • Provide technical direction, support and guidance to the Service Center associates, Implementation, BES, Product Management, Development and other functional area.
  • Provides technical / business expertise to other associates regarding area of functional specification. and serves as organizational Product consultant within specialized area of expertise
  • Coordinate communication with other functional areas to educate and expedite response to critical client solution
  • Assists in developing, aligning, and implementing department standards/processes, promoting standardization and reinforcing the knowledge management strategy
  • Research/Knowledge
    • Serves as a subject-matter expert to Field partners as well as Corporate departments including Training, Development, and Marketing
  • Product Review
    • Involved with initial analysis of new products as well as releases to determine if all required logic has been included/modified to achieve desired affect across products

EXPERIENCE YOU NEED: Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 Years of Directly Related Experience
  • Experience supporting client access
  • SQL database experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot/research regional issues
  • Ability to utilize tools and resources available to track and prioritize defects/enhancements
  • Root cause analysis of issues
  • Communication skills

HOW YOU'LL STAND OUT: Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Education & Experience with major area of concentration in Management, Business Information Technology, Teaching or Computer Science
  • Leadership skills
  • Experience mentoring, coaching and training other team members
  • Certifications: MCITP, Network +,A+
