The Professional – Technical Process/Quality management position will be part of the In-Building Mobile & Web Services team. The group serves the AT&T Mobility group with the creation of a variety of web and mobile applications.

This position will focus on supporting, managing and overseeing several software applications development activities, serving the Antenna Solutions Group. Working knowledge or the antenna solutions group’s role and processes is highly desired, as the interaction, work and leadership on this team is heavily dependent on an understanding of ASG’s business practices.

The Professional – Technical Process/Quality manager will be responsible for:

+ Project management of software releases

+ Guides development team to prioritize enhancement requests based on IMWS and ASG strategic plans

+ Support IMWS team with testing of application development

+ Analyze data to identify root cause of network and software problems.

+ Reporting capability via SQL Queries on database

+ Develop strategic presentation for existing and future applications

+ Interact with users and clients to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

+ Develop business requirements when needed on applications

+ Develop new processes, define processing or handling requirements

+ Compile/evaluate test data.

+ Makes recommendations and implements improvements on existing processes.

+ Reviews requirements for compatibility with existing software

This position may be responsible for contributing to ATT compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

As Professional – Technical Process/Quality Manager, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated in past experiences extensive expertise in the following areas:

+ Project management experience and understanding of PMBOK methodologies

+ Software development management

+ Understanding of software architecture

Required qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or related field

+ 3-5 years experience in developing software applications including: analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications.

+ Proficient in application/software architecture (Definition, Business Process Modeling, etc.)

+ Proficient in application/software testing (Unit, Integration, System, Case Planning, Design and Execution).

+ Understand Change Control Methodology.

+ Proficient in Development Methodolgies (AGILE, Waterfall, ITUP, 3D, etc.)

+ Proficient in SQL Queries

+ Desired qualification: understanding of Java, .NET and other coding languages a plus
