We are a Partial Hospitalization treatment center offering a comprehensive, integrated program that addresses the needs of the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Our system of care is personalized, evidence-based, and research-proven. Patients can self-reflect and find strength for life change that characterizes Foundations Recovery Network as a Company. FRN is currently seeking an Accounts Payable/Purchasing Coordinator, to work with staff, vendors, and contractors to reconcile expenses that might be incurred while responding to the needs of our patients. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively balance the needs of the facility, patients and staff. The Accounts Payable/Purchasing Coordinator will work with other business office staff to ensure expenses are covered and patient’s needs are being met. We believe in patient-centered care, which extends beyond our clinical staff, to every department in every facility. How would you feel, knowing that your ability to coordinate accounts payable will enable our staff to respond to the patient’s needs so that they can focus on recovery? This position will be located at Foundations Recovery Networks facility, Talbott Recovery Center near the Atlanta Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.

Job Requirements

Position Summary

Maintains milieu according to program schedule monitors and provides care for consumers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures program schedule is maintained.

Facilities compliance of all program rules and guidelines.

Responsible for safety and well-being of all patients living within the YAP residences.

Provides assistance with residence emergencies, crisis intervention, interpersonal conflicts, medical and psychiatric emergencies accidents, chemical relapse and family emergencies, messages, community questions and inquires by channeling all situations

Supports and assists in the structuring of all patient activities, assignments and tasks.

Makes rounds of apartments as directed and reports any problems to the Program Supervisor or appropriate contact as outlined in the policies and procedures

Insures cleanliness and sanitation of patient's apartment.

Transportation of patients, to and from specific locations as required.

Gives YAP patients access to their medications which are delivered by TRC Staff and stored in the RA Office and follow the medication distribution process.

Completes room checks, safety checks and client supervision checks as directed.

Ensures orientation of new clients immediately upon admission.

Utilizes motivational interviewing and patient-centered techniques when assisting patients.

Follows appropriate guidelines and therapeutic boundaries with all patients

Provides empathic, supportive approach to all client interactions by acting as a sounding board for the individual.

Obtains all medications from consumer at intake and secures according to policy.

Employs de-escalation techniques.

Utilizes local crisis response plan in case of emergency psychiatric emergency (i.e. suicidal/homicidal ideation or threats).

Documents according to periodicity and content requirements.

Conducts safety drills as described in TRC protocol.

Performs responsibilities according to guidelines, and applies performance feedback.

Participates in all Resident Assistant (RA) staff meetings.

Participates in training and meets TRC and licensure expectations related to training.

Performs all other duties as required or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to inspire client confidence in the TRC Staff and the TRC Model of Treatment.
Ability to consistently demonstrate through conduct and communications the stability required to effectively assist patients and their family members through the TRC Model of Treatment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

Must have high level of interpersonal skills. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, professionalism, tact and diplomacy.

Must have general knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets (MS Word, Excel).

Understanding of diverse cultures and gender specific issues and the ability to incorporate needs of gender and culturally diverse groups into the organization.

Understands need for and maintains appropriate confidentiality at all times when interacting with patients, residents, families, visitors, referral sources and all other contacts.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED required.

Minimum 1 year experience working with dually diagnosed individuals preferred.

CPR certification (or willing to accept training)
