The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Program Manager-Healthcare Technology Management.

The Program Manager-Healthcare Technology Management ensures the quality and compliance of the HTM Program at all UHS locations where HTM service is provided.  Monitors and ensures compliance with UHS and HTM policies and procedures, and regulations including, but is not limited to: CMS, Joint Commission, state, CLIA, AABB, NEC, NFPA.  Develops and leads Quality Program Compliance teams who perform periodic audits of the HTM Program at each acute care facility.  Works with the HTM Program leadership members to develop training and education for technical staff to grow and maintain competency. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develops, implements, monitors, and audits HTM Department Policies and Procedures, regulatory obligations and technical coworker education and competency requirements/assessments.
  • Provides all required reporting to the HTM corporate leadership and facility HTM leadership.  Uses the CMMS database to monitor regulatory requirements and other pertinent data management for the HTM program.  Develops quality and compliance reports, dashboards and components for the HTM Program through collaboration with the HTM Systems Administrator and HTM Leadership.     
  • Works with HTM Leadership, UHS leadership and facility leadership to effectively manage the quality and compliance of the HTM program and deliver the results and expectations for program excellence. 
  • Develops and maintains the “Facility HTM Regulatory Sourcebook” and ensures each facility HTM director updates and maintains the most current version for the assigned UHS facilities.
  • Develops and implements the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP) through collaboration with the UHS HTM Corporate Director, Regional Directors and Directors.  Ensures an annual review of the MEMP takes place at each facility for the HTM Program.
Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Extensive and detailed understanding of healthcare technology management operations which includes regulatory requirements at the federal and state levels.
  • Great communication and customer support skills a must.
  • Knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office products and CMMS Programs.    
  • ACI Certification is preferred. 

 

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel may be possible.
