A challenging and exciting opportunity for a Program Manager position is available in the Global Partner Program Team - Incentive Portfolio. This team is responsible for the program design, development, and programmatic activities related to Cisco’s Partner Program Incentive portfolio. 

The Global Program Manager will have a unique opportunity for both partner and Cisco executive visibility as we transform our partner program and drive innovation into the incentive portfolio. This role involves interaction with all aspects of Cisco’s channel business, all regions of the globe and across all partner types.  

Key responsibilities:

The Global Program Manager will work collaboratively with the Go To Market teams and partner with Sales, Legal, IT and Regional teams to:

 

·       Develop and implement program enhancements; or new programs as required. Taking these programs through the Program Decision Council process.

·       Analyze results and help to create strategies that drive optimization;

·       Meet with stakeholders and regions to ensure ongoing support and modifications necessary for the business;

·       Lead an extended team of regional program managers, stakeholders, operations, and marketing in the evolution and execution of the program

·       Prepare analysis reports on operations or program effectiveness with results and key performance indicators (KPI)

·       Present programs and provide training/education to other groups;

·       Provide policy and regulation interpretation affecting program;

·       Work with marketing and communications to ensure proper content is included in collateral and websites;

·       Partner with Regional partner teams and field sales organizations to provide support to partners, gather and take actions on feedback, and represent partner incentive programs.

 

Requires approximately 7+ years of relevant experience in the following areas:

 

·       Leadership in communications (presentation, verbal, written), project and program management, influence, teamwork, and driving cross-functional team building.

 

·       Independently drive all aspects of managing a program including the following: project management, requirements gathering, managing to timelines and deliverables, driving metrics and KPIs, working with related programs across multiple organizations, delegating specific tasks, designing communications plans, and implementing the evolution of the program.

 

·       Ability to collaborate and partner effectively with key stakeholders across all organizations within Cisco to drive and manage cross functional global teams and projects, often requiring gathering input from distinct theaters and organizations.

 

·       Demonstrate strategic thinking and influence, with in depth understanding of how Cisco operates, its markets and customers, go-to-market strategies and the Cisco sales process, as well as the portfolio of Cisco channel programs, offerings, and value proposition in order to drive improvement of the portfolio and working with all stakeholders to socialize the strategy and implement the program.

     

Education;

BS/BA degree, Masters Optional

Training in Program Management/ Project Management or PMP Certification

International experience
