Mayhill Hospital is a private psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care for adults and seniors. We provide a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients. Our inpatient and outpatient services offer supportive and compassionate care through specialty programs that are tailored to meet the needs of our patients. We provide mental health and chemical dependency care for adults and seniors. Our Inpatient Services consist of Mental Health Program to help those who need acute psychiatric care and stabilization in a safe and supportive atmosphere. Patients follow a structured schedule of therapeutic groups, activities and educational sessions. We have a Crisis Stabilization Program to care for individuals in serious mental health crisis that provides intensive supervision and support to patients in a safe and secure environment. Mayhill also offers a Chemical Dependency Program that provides care that safely manages the physical symptoms of withdrawal from prescription drugs, alcohol and/or other substances. Our Day Hospital (Outpatient) Services for Adults and Seniors is a continuum of care is offered for patients with mental health and chemical dependency problems through intensive outpatient services.

Program Therapist is responsible for managing complex patient issues within the context of a crisis stabilization model, providing casework, group, individual and family therapy, as well as discharge planning services to promote the highest level of patient functioning as they transition back to a community setting. As a patient advocate and an essential member of the interdisciplinary team, this person works collaboratively with patients, guardians, families and the treatment team both internal and external to the organization to coordinate communication among all entities involved in the care of the patient.

 
Requirements

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, treatment skills and discharge planning; must have strong clinical assessment skills preferred.

License: Care Manager must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. Required Licensure: LMSW, LCSW LPC or LPC-Intern.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and management of aggressive behavior training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. Up to 24 hours and available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This position may require occasional flexibility of standard work hours and occasional overtime;
