Description

Fans 1st Media’s Programmatic Product Manager will define and deliver unique, creative and innovative advertising platforms and products, often testing and leading in Cox Media Group’s programmatic space. He/She will have ownership and responsibility through the full product go-to-market lifecycle, from setting product vision and strategy, defining the roadmap and plan to get there, prioritization and execution against the plan, and launch and adoption. He/she should be an expert at collaborating and communicating with cross functional teams, including development resources, while effectively conveying complex concepts across all organizational levels. We are a startup where goals are ever-changing so those afraid of testing and ‘then doing’ should not apply. This job supports reports to the Sr. Manager, Product Management, based in Atlanta.

• Provide thought-leadership on programmatic products and experience; promote best-practices, new ideas, in-depth research, analysis and reporting, all leading to the ultimate goal of brand building 50%
• Task: A keen understanding of initiating, developing, maintaining third-party vendor relationships to maximize strategic benefit
• Be an expert in technical, strategic and key industry aspects of programmatic advertising.

• Develop roll-out, training and implementation plans for new products, features and tools 50%
• Utilize effective project management when launching new products, features and tools, exercising sound decision-making abilities.
• Run data-driven experiments and analysis to optimize programmatic products and inform the strategy
• Interface with internal teams and clients for updates on product performance and enhancements as well as opportunities
• Maximize product development efficiency, while focusing on operational efficiency, in a constantly evolving environment

Qualifications

Experience:

• 2+ years experience in online advertising and ad technologies
• A background (3+ years) in product management and demonstrated success in delivering results within a complex product environment.
• Experience working with engineering teams to define, scope, and prioritize product requirements.
• Be a strategic thinker who can bring insights from the market into our discussions including knowledge of SSPs, RTB, AdServers or Publisher Products.
• Experience in monetizing for digital publishers
• Strong communication and presentation skills - able to distill complex information from multiple sources into actionable insights
• Willingness to do whatever necessary to deliver exceptional results; entrepreneur mentality
• Effective relationship builder, with proven ability to partner across organizations and collaborate effectively across all levels
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; proficient in using hard data and metrics to back Fluency with web analytics and conversion metrics

Additional Qualifications:

• A self-starter that thrives in a startup environment, can work decisions quickly, and Extremely organized. Must be able to multi-task, with a proven history of working quickly, efficiently and accurately under deadline pressures
• Ability to work off hours when needed.
• Experience in MS office & Adobe products (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
