Position Description:
The Talent Acquisition Marketing Project Leader is responsible for online and offline storytelling efforts and content creation to attract talent to a specific area of the business. This person will lead the creation and execution of social media content, print collateral, video, copywriting, design and more for The Home Depot’s employer brand, attracting new talent and addressing the unique staffing challenges of the company. The Project Leader will bring innovative, fresh ideas to our digital strategy to attract the right talent for the target business areas. The Project Leader should have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be a proactive, creative and strategic thinker, comfortable responding to urgent requests and working within ambiguity/complexity. The project leader should have a deep passion for providing excellent customer service and creative solutions.


  • Conduct research to identify industry trends, monitor demographics and assess the Retail competitive landscape
  • Develop and utilize statistical analysis and data modeling to assess the financial impact and efficiency gains from Staffing projects/ initiatives
  • Leverage industry trends and statistical analysis to influence creation and prioritizing of Staffing projects
  • Assess, improve, and standardize Staffing related processes enterprise-wide
  • Project lead Staffing-related projects/ initiatives
  • Partner with field Staffing Managers to create and execute hiring initiatives (e.g. forum, programs, etc.)
  • Initiate and facilitate discussions with internal partners (e.g. Operations, Labor Management, etc.) to support and enable Staffing initiatives
  • Prepare formal presentations based on key findings to Staffing leadership
  • Typically reports to a Manager
  • No direct responsibility for supervising others.
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.


  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years marketing experience with a corporation or advertising/marketing agency
  • Experience developing and overseeing marketing campaigns from concept to implementation
  • Knowledge in media buying, social media channel management, content creation, program management, creative processes and vendor management
  • Experience in employment branding, marketing, advertising, graphic design, copywriting, social media, or journalism
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or comparable program
  • Experience creatively managing social media channels and using social media content management and analysis tools
  • Strong creative thinker and analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Talented storyteller with excellent verbal and written communications skills, with experience telling stories through video, photos and words
  • Ability to identify priority audiences and determine where, when and how to meet them where they are Unmatched commitment to customer service
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or comparable program
