The Project Management Office (PMO) within Prudential’s Enterprise Services & Systems Department is seeking a Project Management Associate. The PMO is tasked with leading the program and project management aspects of critical initiatives across Prudential’s Finance organization.

The PMO provides all aspects of Program/Project management support including but not limited to, identification of initial business issue and scope, development and maintenance of project tools (e.g., project plans), tracking of issues through resolution, and development of all project communications. In addition, this group also supports the Finance areas in the execution of the tactical plans developed to solve these complex business issues by constructing business cases, providing data analysis, drafting business requirements, tracking capital requirements etc.

Key responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of a more senior Project Manager, the Project Management Associate will support small projects and/or phases of larger projects. The projects will support a variety of finance initiatives impacting multiple business groups.

Assignments are within the Finance organization and may include tactical and/or strategic components which often require root cause analyses, problem solving and traditional project management responsibilities (e.g., project plan development and maintenance, issues list, meeting facilitation, documentation).

  • Strong PC skills (MS Office suite including MS Project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills (ability to understand, explain, and resolve business issues.)
  • Demonstrates aptitude for learning in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi task
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or Project Management is preferred
