Description:

The Prudential Group Insurance Service Inquiry and Resolution Organization has a unique opportunity for a Project Management Specialist to join our Team supporting key initiatives which include projects focused on enhancing the service model and underlying administrative practices.  

In this role, you will be responsible to work independently and with management to scope, plan, and manage overall project deliverables ensuring all deadlines and project expectations are met. 

 

This position can be in Roseland, NJ or in Dresher, PA.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for conducting research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and issues

Developing formal recommendations for presentation to management

Working with internal customers to generate solutions to business issues and then planning to implement those solutions.

Leading efforts to develop new or revised processes procedures for assigned business areas

Participating in presentations for internal/external business partners

Directing managers of project sub teams

Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time

Partners, collaborate and engage business partners across the organization and enterprise throughout the project life cycle.

Report regularly to management project status and results.

 


4-5 years Project Management Experience, preferably in the financial services industry with proven experience in a leadership or project role. Group Insurance experience a plus.

PMP certification preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Proven track record of independently managing complex projects across functions and business lines.

Ability to influence work of others in a diverse matrixed team.

Strong interpersonal skills including team collaboration, leadership, presentation, organizational, verbal and written communication skills

Strategic long-term focus on implementation and continuous improvement of project management standards and procedures

     Limited travel may be necessary.
