What You'll Do
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the project schedule, including financial, resource and material requirements. You will manage the collection and updating of business requirements, scope, and change requests raised during the life of the project and ensure that the project management plan is up-to-date and available for reference by stakeholders at any time. You will provide PM leadership to the project team work in close collaboration with the engineering lead to ensure that the expectations of all stakeholders are in alignment with those of the project team. You will ensure the project lifecycle (PLC) is followed and coordinates with management to create and deliver presentations weekly and at PLC gates.

The team provides project management expertise to multiple research and development projects within the Advanced Security Initiatives Group. The Security and Trust Organization has corporate-level responsibility for customer data protection and compliance, corporate information protection, and government and product security. Who You Are
You possess a strong knowledge of computer science or electrical engineering principles, with a four-year degree or equivalent in one of these areas. You are able to work with engineering teams to identify the steps required to deliver complex solutions with quality and provide PM expertise to multiple project teams.  You excel at maintaining an up-to-date project plan that can be referenced at any time and can lead meetings to resolve conflicts, facilitate decision making, and drive timely execution. You enjoy working collaboratively and interfacing with external teams to obtain mutual wins. You work with management to develop complex plans with considerable interdependencies, including contingency plans for dealing with potential or anticipated obstacles and changes in order to optimize operational costs and meet organizational and strategic objectives. 

Our minimum requirements for this role: 
* BS or MS degree, plus 4+ years of experience managing multiple small or medium sized software projects
* PMP or equivalent certification, or willingness to obtain one
* Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
* Ability to influence and coordinate activities across teams
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
* Solid project management skills and methodical approach to coordinating and communicating plans, decision, status
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to interact with senior management or executives on matters concerning delivery of projects
