Cox Automotive is seeking a Market Readiness Manager to join our Client Success Operationsteam in Atlanta, GA.

The Market Readiness Manager plays a critical role in enabling Cox Automotive’ s go-to-market strategy.  In this position you will provide leadership on both the strategy and execution of market deployment plans that enable Cox Automotive’s marketing and sales teams to transition to a consistent, repeatable, and scalable set of processes. 

To drive adoption of new capabilities and tools,  you will collaborate with cross functional stakeholders in Client Success (CS), Marketing, Analytics, Technology, and People Strategies to evaluate business requirements for developing launch, engagement, and execution plans that optimize both the team members’ and clients’ experiences. This includes navigating and exerting influence across Solutions Groups, Business Units, and organizations to deliver an integrated plan that enables adoption of new enterprise capabilities.

Success in the role is defined by development of a comprehensive, client-centric, cross-functional deployment plans for the Manager’s assigned business units that can be replicated and scaled; enablement of Sales behaviors which result in business outcomes that support growth and retention goals; and adoption of the Lead to Order program. 

Primary responsibilities and essential functions:

Identify, define, and manage end to end impacts for program work streams:

  • Partner with capability and technology delivery teams to identify and define impacts to team members resulting from changes in processes, policies, or technologies.
  • Partner with Enterprise Process team to drive current-state and future-state business processes gap analysis for informing business readiness 
  • Drive user adoption through the planning and execution of adoption plans
  • Inform and coordinate adoption plans across communications, training, and client change management work streams
  • Partner with the Communications and Change Management work streams to develop stakeholder engagement and communications strategy 
  • Identify and facilitate mitigation/resolution for risks to end user engagement, buy-in and solution adoption
  • Regularly manage and report on business readiness

Lead cross-functional execution of business readiness plan:

  • Manage the business readiness checklist and co-ordination of the go / no-go process
  • Implement process, technology, and policy changes across multiple groups of stakeholders
  • Acts as the key point of contact for go-live and post go live support
  • Partner with Measurement/Reinforcement analyst to understand metrics, feedback, and trends
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and/or new methodologies to improve deployment planning and execution

Responsible for Boundary Partner/Stakeholder engagement and coordination:

  • Identify teams that have dependencies on the Lead to Order processes and tools being deployed
  • Function as Subject Matter Expert to inform these teams of the changes taking place
  • Coordinate with capability and technology delivery teams to utilize cohesive enterprise workgroups in communications and decision making



  • 7+ years of business readiness, operational excellence, and/or change management
  • BS/BA in related discipline (finance, business or information technology) OR an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
  • Deep business process analysis, prioritization, performance analytics, and change management skills and a high degree of intellectual capacity to facilitate connecting dots
  • Extensive understanding of cross-functional program management and project management methods and tools such as DMAIC, SDLC, and Agile
  • Influence and maintain trustworthy working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders across various leadership levels, both internally and externally
  • Ability to communicate in writing as well as verbally complex, technical concepts in a focused and well organized manner to diverse audiences
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and/or new methodologies to improve departmental efficiencies and service delivery to clients
  • Employee Voice of the Customer and critical to quality techniques for understanding customer requirements and effectively managing customer needs and expectations
  • Inspire cross-functional collaboration through breaking down silos and ability to effectively work with others to set goals, resolve problems, identify solutions and make decisions
  • Deep root cause analysis skills with ability to generate solutions and make business case for change
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, working knowledge of SFDC and ERP
  • Ability to establish buy-in, navigate cultural complexities, and identify commonalities among competing priorities in a matrixed organization
  • Must embody trustworthiness, strong character, and be willing to “oll up the sleeves


  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration
  • PMP certification
  • Agile/SCRUM certification
