**ROLE SUMMARY**







The **Project Manager for Aseptic and Sterilization** will execute quality, manufacturing, engineering, and validation compliance activities under direction of technical leadership at the McPherson site pharmaceutical manufacturing facility and in accordance with GMP and Aseptic guidelines. Activities may include development, coordination and execution of aseptic and sterilization process changes, change requests, protocols and document revisions as required meeting regulatory and cGMP requirements. The position will support new project development for aseptic improvements and sterilization program management including scheduling, project management and project support for new processes, facility enhancements and program development to drive improvements at the McPherson site.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Apply technical knowledge of Aseptic Processing, Engineering, Operations and Validation along with planning and project management skills to execute and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.



+ Apply technical knowledge of Autoclave sterilization, Engineering, Operations and Validation along with planning and project management skills to execute a nd coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.



+ Support project objectives through document reviews, project oversight, developing project schedules and supporting operations and validation activities to ensure project effectiveness for commercial aseptic operations.



+ Coordinate and communicate progress on scheduled projects and regulatory commitments. Manages own time to meet defined objectives



+ Develops programs to support compliance regulations for aseptic processing and best practices across sterile manufacturing operations and autoclave programs.



+ May direct and/or review outputs of contractors or supporting staff, as required, for project support activities.







**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ BS in Engineering, Microbiology, Biology or Technical field is required, Masters in Engineering is preferred.



+ 5-7 years' experience in aseptic operations is required; prior Engineering, Operations or Validation assignments preferred.



+ Experience authoring, review, and executing projects are required.



+ Experience developing project plans in a GMP aseptic facility is required.



+ Experience with multiple aseptic processes within or at multiple facilities is preferred.

+ Remains organized & positive in ambiguous and fast-paced, rapidly changing situations



+ Ability to analyze data from detailed schedule and risk management tools



+ Interface effectively with multiple stakeholder groups



+ Ability to apply quality concepts to projects and develop processes to meet or exceed compliance regulations
