The core mission of Optum Connect is to provide end-to-end Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and core administrative Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services to the commercial market. Optum Connect solutions incorporate products, capabilities, services, and other offerings from across Optum into end-to-end solutions that differentiate from commodity competitors by connecting the breadth of Optum assets into transformative solutions.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Project Manager will have responsibility for business analysis, project management functions, leading and supporting PMO functions, developing mini-cost benefit analysis for the change control process, support and or development of program reporting
  • Could require 25% to 50% travel within any given month, with significant travel on the on-set of Programs signing, tailoring off over time based on Program Length and complexity

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT Project Management and/or PMO experience and 2+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Fluent Spanish speaking
  • Relational Database Experience
  • SQL intermediate skills running queries
  • Experience in creating data or financial reports or executive presentations
  • 25-50% travel within Puerto Rico and other states as required

  • Healthcare Industry experience
  • Implementation experience
  • Plainview experience
  • BPO and/or ITO experience
  • Service delivery, program delivery, operations delivery experience
