This position has day to day responsibility to plan and execute marketing programs designed to increase sales, raise awareness of THD service offerings and increase customer satisfaction scores. The primary function is to partner with merchandising, operations and marketing managers to activate, communicate and execute sales events and promotions.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Planning and executing marketing plans
Event planning and execution. Partner with Advertising, Marketing, Merchandising & Operations.
Educate organization regarding customer group and demonstrate ways in which customer demands can be met through the efforts of departments outside of marketing and advertising.
Projecting and tracking Return-on-investment (ROI) and sales for initiatives
Manage outside vendors and agencies to ensure execution of programs and tactics on time and within budget.
Manage projects and the allotment of money to meet budgetary and segment goals.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Typically reports to Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager, Brand Manager
Responsible for helping others and providing on-the-job training or guidance
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Conditions could produce mild discomfort on occasion.
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years
Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
Bachelor degree required. MBA preferred.
Ability to approach problems systematically, researching all alternatives and making appropriate recommendations.
Ability to be deadline oriented with long and short- term projects.
