Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
Interline Brands, Inc. (a Home Depot Company) is among the nation s largest distributors and direct marketers of specialty maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products, both branded and private label.

Under the guidance of the Project Manager, this position is responsible for the setup of all day-to-day functions in a Shop Management Program within Multifamily. This includes but is not limited to the following: traveling to customer locations to facilitate new shop solutions, crossing of material, building rack, checking in inventory, slotting product, maximizing efficiencies, completing the proper control reports, sending out project communications, develop and send project wrap-up summaries, tracking expenses, and contributing to process improvement & sales growth. 


MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • 40%- Maintain a clean and professional warehouse at customer locations. 
  • Assist with the implementation of new Shop Management Programs. This includes but not limited to the following: building rack, crossing of inventory, complete warehouse inventory within virtual program, maximizing efficiencies, identifying and labeling product. 
  • 40%- Properly identify and count inventory. 
  • Complete all control reports in the intervals described in the Operations Manual. 
  • 5%- Assist the Project Manager in the training process for “Supply Chain” customers. 
  • Assist the Project Manager in the profiling and warehouse design of a new shop.. 
  • 5%- Set and/or adjust “Min / Max” levels to maintain the proper levels of inventory. 
  • 5%- Recognize and communicate to your manager both market and customer business conditions and concerns. 
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service. 
  • 5%- Secure own travel as directed by Manager and in accordance with company policy.
NATURE AND SCOPE
  • Position reports to Sr. Project Manager. 
  • No direct reports.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:
  • Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.

Travel:

  • Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preference in general business, inventory management, supply chain, project management, information technology, geography, design. Other degrees considered.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Sales and Operations Experience.
  • Entrepreneurial minded with attention to detail.
  • Product knowledge experience preferred; in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Strong communications skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and other Office products.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new systems and tools.
  • MUST have strong working knowledge of Excel.

  • Ability to lift 60 pounds or more.
